We all know the scent of lavender to be associated with relaxation and serenity, but how does it work? Lavender contains an oil that seems to have sedating effects and might relax certain muscles. It also seems to have antibacterial and antifungal effects*.

We have sourced a specific English lavender oil that is standardized to a similar concentration of linalool and linalyl acetate found in a clinically studied source of lavender oil, which was shown to reduce anxiety.
